Christoph Schmidt - Member of the Federal Executive Board
ADFC

The development of bicycle-friendly infrastructure is often neglected in both urban and rural areas. However, cities and municipalities need planning security to move forward with this development. We won’t get that if the federal government sends the message that when funds are tight, the first thing to go is funding for the cycling infrastructure.
Christoph Schmidt holds a degree in business administration and runs his own IT company. He has actively supported the ADFC's transportation policy efforts since 2013. He aims to strengthen the the link between local ADFC groups and the national level to ensure a successful transportation transition in both urban and rural areas. On the board, he is responsible for transportation policy and consumer protection.
